Ken Haycock is research professor of management and organization in the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, where he is director of graduate programs in library and information management. He was previously director of LIS programs at San Jose and British Columbia. His research and teaching interests focus on the related areas of leadership development, organizational effectiveness, advocacy and influence and role clarification/effectiveness. Recognized by many associations he was awarded the Queen’s Silver Jubilee Medal for contributions to society and an honorary Doctor of Letters from Capilano University in 2013. He holds graduate degrees in Business Administration, Education, and LIS and a doctorate in leadership and management.
