I am an associate professor in the School Librarianship Program at Longwood University in Farmville, VA. I teach Collection Development, Reference and Information Sources and Services, Children's Literature Young Adult Literature, Instructional Design, and Best Practices for Library Instruction. I am especially interested in helping great educators become amazing librarians and leaders in their schools. My research interests are related to how school librarians prepare their environment and their instruction to meet the huge variety of student needs.
