Professor Emerita, University of Wisconsin-Madison
In retirement I am still engaged with the UW-Madison SLIS and with the Tribal Libraries, Archives and Museums Project and the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. I also volunteer with an after school program called the Simpson Street Free Press, where I help students of diverse backgrounds improve their writing and reading. It has been five years since I have been to ALISE, of which I was president for two years.
